I don’t believe there was AC, but we opened the windows and it was quiet outside. We didn’t use the pool, but nice that there was one. Beds were very comfortable. "This is just the sweetest place, nestled into a cliffside, south of Big Sur. Miles from any amenities, and with no one to greet you when you arrive, the owners nevertheless make checking in a breeze and even have the wit to provide an extra key in the lockbox in case you lock yourself out. In the morning, a "breakfast nook" opens at 8:30am so you can have a muffin and fruit and juice with the coffee you've made in the room. Ocean views are spectacular, even if you don't have an ocean view room, since you can walk up the trail to enjoy the sea. A real find. I've passed through Lucia dozens of times and always wondered what it would be like to stay there. Now I know. On this trip, it was the perfect stop."
